Good news: the BSL interpreted performances of this year’s panto, Dick Whittington, are now sorted, and we can tell you exactly how to grab them while they’re hot.
It’s Sunday 20 December, and we’ve got you covered twice over. Both the 13:00 matinee and the 17:30 evening show will have a BSL interpreter.
We’ve set aside seats with the best view of the interpreter:
13:00 matinee
G20–G26, H17–H26, J20–J26
17:30 evening
E13–E24, F14–F25, G14–G26
These seats are blocked off for people who need the interpreter, so they can’t be booked online. Please get in touch with our Box Office and they’ll look after you:
Email: box-office@littletheatresouthport.co.uk
Phone: 01704 530521, weekdays between 11:00 and 13:00
In person: drop in during the Box Office opening times on our website.
Why we do it
Southport Dramatic Club wants theatre to be for everyone. That’s the whole reason we’re offering BSL interpreted shows for our panto again this year. Nobody should miss out on the fun, whether that’s booing the villain, shouting “he’s behind you!” or joining in with the songs.
Being inclusive isn’t a one-off for us, it’s part of how we run the club and the theatre. If there’s anything else we can do to make your visit easier, just tell us when you book and we’ll do our best.
Please share this with anyone who might want to come along. We’d love to see you there.
