Our new season kicks off with a riot of colour and imagination as the Cat in the Hat leads us through the Jungle of Nool and the tiny world of Whoville. While on holiday, Peter and Debbie make a casual promise to stay in touch with Elsa, a larger-than-life widow from the USA. They never expect her to actually turn up on their doorstep — and a quick internet search suggests she might be rather more than an awkward houseguest. A brilliantly funny and increasingly uncomfortable comedy about the promises we don’t mean to keep.
