The SDC Are About to Start a Fight… In The Bar!

The SDC are gearing up for their next production at the Little Theatre, and this one promises a brilliantly messy night out. God of Carnage takes one simple situation — two sets of parents meeting to discuss a playground scrap — and lets it unravel in the most spectacular fashion.

What starts as polite chit‑chat quickly turns sour. Lines are crossed, alliances shift, and the living room becomes a battleground of snide comments, bruised egos, and the kind of honesty people normally keep firmly bottled up. It’s sharp, it’s awkward, and it’s very, very funny.

Reza’s script gives the cast plenty to sink their teeth into, and the SDC love a character‑driven piece with a bit of bite. If you enjoy watching civility crumble and grown adults behave worse than the kids they’re arguing about, you’ll have a great night.
