The Great British Bake Off Musical – Southport Spotlights

From 1st–4th July, Southport Spotlights are taking over the Little Theatre to bring us The Great British Bake Off Musical. Honestly, it’s the perfect match—Spotlights always bring huge energy to the stage, and this show is basically a massive, feel-good hug in musical form.
The story follows eight amateur bakers (the usual mix of eccentric characters we see every Tuesday night on Channel 4) as they deal with kitchen disasters, secret ingredients, and the pressure of the judges’ critiques. Expect plenty of laughs, a surprisingly moving story, and songs that are way catchier than you’d expect a song about cake to be.
