Meet us in the Southport Little Theatre bar. Non members welcome – open to all!Based on the true story of the 1966 Aberfan mining disaster in Wales.
This is the story of how 5 grief stuck mothers pull together to try and come to terms of losing their children whilst all being in different stages of the grieving process.
The play follows the story of the women several months after the disaster at a support group. To try and lift spirits, a Revlon Girl is brought in to try and help them boost their self esteem and gain confidence again, through learning how to apply Revlon make up and rediscovering themselves.
The Revlon Girl is hard hitting, gritty and raw, whilst also having some magical, warming moments.
