National Operatic and Drama Association
We had a fabulous night at the National Operatic and Drama Association (NODA) North West – District 6 awards – and we were delighted that the SDC took home four awards:
Abbie Strefford – best leading female character in a youth drama – Miss Slighcarp – The Wolves of Willhoughby Chase
Harry Corcoran – best leading male character in a youth drama – Mr Grimshaw – The Wolves of Willhoughby Chase
Paul Wilkinson – best director of a youth drama – The Wolves of Willhoughby Chase
Jen Corcoran, Marilyn Fletcher-Hill, Lisa Tatler, Wendy Cox – best ensemble in a drama – Lillies on the Land
Congratulations to our fabulous winners – and to all winners from Southport societies including Southport Spotlights Musical Theatre Society, BOS Musical Theatre Company, SONG and GhostlightPerformers – a great night for the town’s superb theatre community!
