Jack, Jill, Tommy, the Dame… and the Cow Who Emptied the Freezer

Well… that was a weekend and a half! Jack and the Beanstalk has burst onto The Little Theatre stage and Southport has absolutely thrown its arms around it. The atmosphere has been electric — laughing kids, cheering grown‑ups, and that brilliant panto buzz that fills the whole building. The comments, the messages, the excited chatter in the foyer – it’s all been buzzing in the best possible way.

“A classic family panto — the perfect festive treat.”
“The cast looks incredible this year.”
“The Little Theatre is on a roll this season.”

People can’t stop talking about Jack and Jill, who’ve instantly become the cutest duo in town. Tommy is getting huge laughs every night — he’s basically chaos in human form — and our Dame is stealing scenes left, right and centre. The battle between good and evil is in full swing too, with the Spirit of the Beans and Rancid proving to be an absolutely brilliant duo — one sprinkling magic, the other causing mayhem, and both getting huge reactions from the audience. The energy on stage is massive, and audiences are feeling every second of it.

And then there’s Daisy the Cow. We knew she’d be popular… but we didn’t expect this level of adoration. She’s officially the cutest cow in the North West. She’s getting so much attention that we’re blaming her for the weekend’s unexpected drama: you completely cleared us out of Double Jersey ice cream. You lot clearly took the dairy theme very seriously!
Gone. Every tub. Not a scoop left.

But don’t panic: We’ve ordered double the amount which is arriving today. Lesson learned. Never underestimate a Southport audience with a sweet tooth and a soft spot for a cow.

So if you haven’t grabbed your tickets yet — or you fancy another round of panto madness, ice cream, and Daisy‑induced joy — now’s the moment.

🎟️ If you’re planning to come along, now’s the time to grab your seats.

Daisy will be ready. And this time… so will the ice cream.
