Southport Dramatic Club are delighted to be hosting an International Women’s Day conference for hundreds of year 10 students from Southport Learning Trust schools.
This annual event has previously been hosted at schools, but our 410 seater proscenium arch theatre is an ideal venue for the groups to gather and engage with inspirational women.
Speakers on the day come from a variety of professions including an expert in disaster recovery, an employment lawyer, a senior air traffic controller, a department head from L’Oreal and an award winning life coach.
The students are at a point in their educational journey where they are looking ahead to their post 16 choices and this event will undoubtedly give them much to think about.

We currently have three women as our Chair, Vice Chair and immediate Past Chair and our next three plays in the adult season (and bar) are Directed by women too!
