Crikey, the phones have barely stopped ringing here at the Little Theatre!
We are absolutely gearing up for Christmas, and we can hand-on-heart say that the Southport Dramatic Club (SDC) is putting together a pantomime so brilliant, you simply cannot miss it. We’re talking about the magical, hilarious classic: Jack and the Beanstalk!
Seriously, if you haven’t got your tickets yet, now is the time. We’ve had a massive rush, and the best seats are disappearing fast. Get in quick to guarantee your family the perfect spot for the festive fun.
Jack and the Beanstalk: The Christmas Show Stopper
Our run starts on Friday 19th December 2025, and runs right through to Sunday 4th January 2026. This show has all the elements you know and love: dazzling costumes, proper slapstick comedy, singalongs, and a giant adventure that will have the whole family cheering and booing! It’s the essential, traditional, festive colour and chaos that makes Christmas special.
A Note on Accessibility: BSL Performances
We want to make sure everyone can enjoy the pure magic of panto. That’s why we’re especially proud to offer two performances with a dedicated British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter:
- Saturday, 27th December, at 5:30 PM
- Sunday, 28th December, at 2:30 PM
If you need BSL interpreted seats, please don’t book online. For the best view of the interpreter and the stage, you must contact the Box Office directly so they can reserve the perfect spot for you.

Before the curtain even rises on the big show, we’re throwing open the doors to the public for a fantastic Free Panto Family Open Day—a chance to see all the labour and love that goes into our productions.
Come and explore the Little Theatre, step onto the hallowed stage, and get right behind the scenes!
It’s happening on Saturday, 29th November 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. You can just drop in any time!
We’ll have loads going on: You can meet some of the panto characters, check out costumes and crazy props, enjoy a story time with the Spirit of the Beans, and let the kids have a go at the colouring competition and our dress-up photo booth.
It’s the perfect taster session before the main event. We can’t wait to see you there!
