SUMMARY:Come from Away - BOS Musical Theatre Company
DESCRIPTION:Come From Away is a heartwarming and powerful musical based on the true story of what happened in the small town of Gander\, Newfoundland\, on September 11\, 2001. When U.S. airspace was suddenly closed in the wake of the terrorist attacks\, 38 planes carrying nearly 7\,000 stranded passengers from around the world were unexpectedly diverted to Gander—nearly doubling the town’s population overnight. \nThe residents of this tight-knit community quickly sprang into action\, opening their homes\, schools\, and hearts to the “plane people.” Over five remarkable days\, fear and confusion gave way to compassion and friendship as strangers became family. Amidst the chaos\, bonds were formed\, love stories blossomed\, and acts of extraordinary kindness shone through unimaginable tragedy. \nTold through a vibrant rock-folk score and a small ensemble of actors who portray multiple characters\, Come From Awaycelebrates the best of humanity—empathy\, generosity\, and unity in the face of crisis. \n\nBOOK NOW

SUMMARY:Our Day Out - SDC Youth Theatre
DESCRIPTION:A Heartfelt Journey with SDC Youth Theatre This March!\nThe SDC Youth Theatre proudly presents Willy Russell’s beloved play\, “Our Day Out\,” at the Little Theatre Southport from March 18th to 21st\, 2026. \nThis isn’t just any school outing; it’s a profound and often hilarious glimpse into the lives of a group of working-class schoolchildren from inner-city Liverpool in the 1980s. The play beautifully captures the transient freedom of a day away from the classroom\, where rules bend and personalities truly shine. \n“Our Day Out” resonates deeply because it speaks to universal experiences: the longing for something more\, the bittersweet realisation of life’s complexities\, and the enduring power of human connection. It’s a play that will make you laugh out loud one moment and bring a tear to your eye the next\, leaving you with much to reflect upon. \nSDC Youth Theatre is thrilled to bring this powerful and entertaining play to life. SUMMARY:Shrek - BOS Musical Theatre Company
DESCRIPTION:BOS Musical Theatre Company are proud to present “Shrek – The Musical” from Saturday 18th to 25th October 2025 at Little Theatre\, Hoghton Street\, Southport. \nBased on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film\, Shrek The Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure featuring all new songs from Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Millie\, Caroline or Change) and a sidesplitting book by David Lindsay-Abaire. Shrekbrings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage\, and proves there’s more to the story than meets the ears. \n“Once upon a time\, there was a little ogre named Shrek…” And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short tempered bad guy\, a cookie with an attitude\, and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits\, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily\, there’s one on hand…and his name is Shrek. \nBOOK ON BOS WEBSITE
